Kruthaguna 5 (2021)

Kruthaguna 4 (2019)

With the intention of paying gratitude towards the sanitary staff whom provide their fullest effort as to maintain the beauty of the University, we as Vikings Club of University of Sri Jayewardenepura thought of walking an extra mile to conduct the phase 4 of Kruthaguna series by providing over 100 packets of lunch for them on 05th of November 2019 at University premises at 11.30 a.m onward.

Kruthaguna 2 (2019)

This programme marked the second stage of the Kruthaguna series. In collaboration with the Sri Lanka Eye Donation Society, Vikings were able to conduct an eye check-up campaign for the sanitary staff working at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. The event took place on 20th of February, 2019 at university premises from 9.00am onwards. The sanitary staff members of the university were able to have their eyesight’s checked by the clinical staff and doctors and suitable spectacles were prescribed. The recommended spectacles were provided freely by the Sri Lankan Eye Donation Society, a kind gesture of them that the Vikings are immensely grateful for.

Kruthaguna 1 (2019)

In collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine, Vikings were able to conduct a health campaign for the sanitary staff working at the University of Sri Jayawardene, on 23rd of November 2018 at University premises. The sanitary staff members of the university were able have their physical illnesses diagnosed and their blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol levels examined by General practitioner doctors and nurses who immensely helped to make the event worthwhile.
