Share Market Workshop 20′
“The Workshop on the Share Market” was organized by a voluntary project team consisting Vikings members, aiming all the undergraduates of University of Sri Jayewardenepura who were interested in Share Market Operations and Investments. The Workshop was held on 25th February 2020 from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm and it was conducted by an excellent panel from the Colombo Stock Exchange.
The content of the workshop was as follows,
1. Share Market operations and how to select investments?
2. How to access and do transactions with the CSE using Mobile devices?
3. Proving an opportunity to all participants to create their own accounts at CSE then and there
The guest speakers of the day was,
1. Ms. Imesha Fernando, The Senior Executive, Investor Education, CSE
2. Mr. Nakrushan Chithrasenan, Junior Executive, Market Development, CSE
3. Mr. Saliya Gamagedera, Assistant General Manager, Capital Trust Securities (PVT) LTD
There were more than 200 attendees for the workshop which was indeed a success. We, the Vikings Club of University of Sri Jayewardenepura, will continue to bring you such productive sessions in the future, as a club continually striving for the promotion of Social Entrepreneurship in Sri Lanka.
