Virtual Gathering for the month April 2020
For the very first time in Vikings history , a virtual gathering was held on 2nd of April 2020 mainly through whatssapp . The objective of holding the gathering on a virtual platform was that to communicate to our members that the interaction of the members will not be restricted due to the global covid 19 pandemic.
Nevertheless in order to enahnce team building skills , communication & listening skills of the members thereby enabling our members to come up with innovative practical solutions to current social problems.
All the members were allocated into 10 groups & each team was led by the respective JDB members. The most interesting part was that each team came up with creative names , creative slogans for their respective teams . Such uplifted the competitiveness , interaction , enthusiasm of the members
At the commencement of the gathering a social problem was given to all the teams & were asked to come up with a creative , innovative , practical solution for the given problem within 45 minutes.
Once each & every solution was evaluated by the judges ( ex executive board members) Team Covid Warriors was declared as the winning team . Team EXTREME was declared as the team that gave the most innovative idea.
The virtual gathering ended on a high note , remarking as one the most interactive gatherings of the Vikings club.
