Annual General Meeting 2019
The Annual General Meeting for the year 2019 was held on 16th January 2020 from 5.00pm to 6.30pm at C1 auditorium hall, Faculty of Applied Sciences.
Main objectives of the AGM were to notify the members about the projects carried out by the current executive board for 19/20 and the appointment of the Junior Director Board of Vikings Club for 2020.
The Guests of the AGM were Vikings Club advisors and the Lecturers of University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Dr. (Ms.) Vilani Sachithra and Ms. Shehani Shanika.
The attendees were welcomed by the President Viking Oshara Kariyakarawana and the AGM was followed by the respective project managers’ presentations on their respective project summaries.
Viking Lochana, the Vice President of Vikings Club, presented the Treasurer’s report for the year 2019.
A summary of the future projects that is to be executed was presented by Viking Hasitha, the Vice President of Vikings Club.
The most awaited part of the evening was the appointment of JDB for 2020 and with Sahani Gunathilaka, the Vice Secretary adjourned the AGM with the Thank you speech.
