We inform you that the Ministry of Primary Industries, jointly with the World Bank project of the ministry on Agriculture Sector modernization in Collaboration with University of Central Lancashire plans to conduct workshop on University- Industry Engagement for entrepreneurship and Buisness promotion to meet the challenges incurred on Agric. Sector modernization” on 2nd Oct. 2019 at the auditorium of the Ministry of Defense, Shurupaya, Battramulla. ,
The main objective of the workshop is to meet with business leaders of the country with academic leaders, graduates and entrepreneurial students to share their experiences to formulate joint programs for new technology inventions and innovations to uplift the Agric. Sector. .

Appreciate if You could please disseminate this to Interested academics and students ( Due to non academic Strike action in the Universities ) and send the names of the participants by 26th Thursday. We expect about 10-15 participants from each University ; your corporation in this regard is much appreciated.
The outcome of this program will also used to formulate a joint proposal for EU funding on University- Industry collaboration in collaboration with UCLAN and few European Universities.
