A Special meeting was held between The Innovation Invention and Venture Creation Council of University of Sri Jayewardenapura (IIVCC) and the Japura Vikings Students club.The main goal of this meeting was to form a partnership between the two parties in order to make them aware of the structure, working mechanism, and future activities of the IIVCC and how can they contribute to the council as a student body.
At that meeting both the parties firmly stated that this partnership would be mutually beneficial since the Japura Vikings as a society accommodates large number of undergraduate students with business enthusiasm.So as the official innovation council of the university IIVCC can facilitate them with the required financial and technical assistance.
For this meeting Prof. Shirantha Heenkenda(Co-Chairperson) Dr. Lasith Gunawardena(General Secretary) Dr. R.M.C. Jayathilake(Head-ELI) were present from the IIVCC while a large number of japura viking members were present including their President.
